We've put together a dream team of Resident Makers who will be available on a regular basis to help you with your projects. These Makers are experts in their fields and will be present at the Makers' Guild at the times noted below. We've got you covered with experts in the following fields: 3D design & 3D Printing, Coding, Electronics/Arduino, Sewing & Crafting, and Soldering. Access to our Resident Makers comes with your membership to the Makers' Guild.
Electronics with the Circuit Playground
Would you like to learn electronics, with an all-in-one board that has sensors and LEDs built in? We have the Circuit Playground and it's the best way to practice programming on real hardware with no soldering or sewing required! Billy is our Microcontroller Resident Maker and will be teaching how to use the Circuit Playground every third Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm.
Textiles
Want to learn how to sew and work with textiles. Whether it's making a pillow, hemming your own clothes, or making a leather wallet, Kristal has you covered. She is our Textile resident and will be available every fourth Wednesday at 6:30pm to help you with your projects.
Coding
Coding is no longer only for computer scientists. Everyone should learn how to code because of all the opportunities it opens up. Learn how to code or get help in an area where your stuck with our Resident Maker, Shankar. Whether it's Python, C++, or Scratch, Shankar can help you get going. Shankar will be available every first Thursday at 6:30pm.
3D Printing
Ever wanted to learn how to use a 3D printer and design for 3D printing? Stop by and meet Ralph, our 3D Printing and Design Resident Maker. Ralph will get you going with various design software including Tinkercad and OpenScad. Ralph will be available every Monday at 6:30pm.
3D Design
We even have an Autodesk Fusion 360 Resident Maker. Ready to take your 3D modeling skills to the next level or looking to get started with a powerful modeling tool? Vladimir will be available every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm to get you going with Fusion 360.
Soldering
Want to learn how to Solder? Mark will be available every 1st Friday at 6pm of every even month to teach you (Feb, April, June, etc). We supply the soldering kits and tools.
