Intro to the Laser Cutter

Learn to safely and creatively operate the makerspace laser cutter.  The laser cutter allows you to precisely cut and engrave a variety of materials.  You'll be inspired with the many beautiful examples of things you can make from this amazing machine which includes everything from project enclosures to jewelry.  In this workshop, students will each create a digital design and then send that design to the laser cutter to be made.  Completion of this workshop is required in order to use the laser cutter.  Attendees should bring a laptop. Must be 18+ to attend.
